Na zářijových aukcích Dorothea a European Arts sběratelé a investoři utratili přes 53 milionů korun, což je o téměř 9 milionů méně než na stejných dvou aukcích loni. Index ART+ se přesto dál držel na rekordních hodnotách z konce prvního pololetí, oslabil o pouhé 3 body.

Díla Zdeňka Buriana, Jiřího Balcara, Vojtěcha Tittelbacha a Františka Kavána se prodala v nových autorských rekordech. Nové Burianovo aukční maximum za obraz Tygr Ussurijský z roku 1966 je 3,1 milionu korun. V Balcarově případě je cena 1,2 milionu za obraz Pokus o autoportrét mojí přítelkyně z téhož roku autorovým prvním milionovým prodejem. Za milionové částky bylo v září celkem vydraženo 9 obrazů, hranici sta tisíc korun překonalo dalších 66 uměleckých děl.
