Zemřel Olbram Zoubek
Ohédnutí za sochařovými aukčními výsledky

Necelé dva měsíce po svých 91. narozeninách ve čtvrtek zemřel sochař Olbram Zoubek. V dubnu k narozeninám mimo jiné dostal nový aukční rekord, když se jeho dvoumetrová socha Ifigenie na aukci Galerie Art Praha prodala za téměř 660 tisíc korun.

Aukcemi v posledních patnácti letech prošla víc jak tisícovka Zoubkových soch a prací na papíře, přičemž 65 procent z nich našlo nové majitele. Práce na papíře lze získat za částky od jednoho do tří tisíc (několik desítek z nich bude například nabízeno na aukci Galerie Dolmen koncem června), drobné reliéfy stojí do deseti tisíc a velké sochy pak od padesáti tisíc korun výše.
Dvě nejdražší plastiky aukcemi prošly letos v dubnu. Na aukci Galerie Art Praha vystoupala již zmiňovaná Ifigenie, charakteristická zlacená ženská figura z osinkocementu, z 354 na 659 tisíc korun. O tři dny později se dvoumetrový bronz Bezová duše ve větru na aukci Galerie Dolmen prodal za vyvolávací cenu 588 tisíc korun.
Zajímavou recenzi Zoubkovy velké etrospektivy, která se konala před třemi lety v Jízdárně Pražského hradu, napsal v únoru 2014 pro art+antiques Jan Wollner (zde).
